Tuesday, Dec 2nd.............rehearsal at my house 4:15-5:00 all classes meet.
Friday, Dec 5th.......Friends & Family Show at Fruita Middle School Auditorium
Drop off time: 6:40pm
Tuesday, Dec 9th....performance at Family Health West Nursing Home at 6:30pm
Drop off time: 6:15pm

Saturday, Dec 13th..........Mesa Mall at 1:00 pm by JC PENNEY. Drop off time: 12:40pm
Also on the 13th.....Fruita Parade of Lights Times and lineup info will be updated on 12-11-08
Tuesday, Dec 16th....Sunshine Generation Christmas Party at my house. All classes meet from 6:00-7:00.

September Update
The Fruita Fall Festival parade was very fun. We are having learning our Holiday Show to start performing this winter.
CORRECTION: on the September newsletter it said our first performance was the friends and family show on Monday, December 1st. It will actually be held on Tuesday, December 2nd. it will still be at 7:00pm in the Fruita Middle School auditorium.

Off to a great start
We had our first classes yesterday, and they went great. We had lots of fun. We learned our line spacing and staging. And practiced some songs for the Fruita Fall Festival parade.
Next week we will start working on our holiday show. I'm looking forward to a fun year, we have such a great group of kids.

Class Schedule for Fall
I will be starting weekly classes beginning Tuesday, September 9th 2008. The classes will be:
Singing Sunbeams( ages 3 & 4) Tuesdays from 5:15-6:00
Sundance (ages 5-7) Tuesdays from 4:15 - 5:00 ~ if your child is in this age group and goes to Rim Rock Elementary School, they can walk to class. My house borders the school.
Solar Sounds ( ages 8-11) Tuesdays from 6:15 - 7:00

Monthly tuition is: (we charge by the month, not by the lesson)
$28.00 per month, and a family rate of $23.00 for each additional child in a family enrolled in Sunshine Generation.

Our first Summer Performance

We had our friends and family show Friday night. It went great. The kids learned the entire show in 4 days at a summer camp. They had a blast at camp and still put in the work to make it a great show. We are performing next at the Grand Junction Farmer's Market at 6th street and Main. We will also be riding in the 4th of July Parade.
